HOUSTON, Texas — Registration is now open for YES Camp 2026, a three-day leadership experience designed to empower young Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) adults through leadership development, community engagement, wellness, and meaningful connections.

Taking place August 7–9, 2026, at YMCA Camp Cullen in Trinity, Texas, YES Camp welcomes young adults ages 17–25 for an immersive weekend centered around this year's theme: You & Me: The Power of We with the tagline "When Hearts Align, Differences Shine," YES Camp 2026 encourages participants to embrace their individuality while discovering the strength that comes from building genuine relationships and working together toward a common purpose.

Throughout the weekend, campers will participate in leadership workshops, outdoor adventures, wellness activities, keynote presentations, creative team projects, and collaborative challenges designed to strengthen communication, confidence, and civic engagement.

A featured highlight of this year's program is keynote speaker Rosie Nguyen, former Emmy Award-winning journalist and current Director of Communications and Projects in Free Expression at Rice University. Rosie will share her experiences in storytelling, authentic leadership, and the importance of using one's voice to create positive change.

YES Camp 2026 is proudly organized by Học Viện Công Dân (ICEVN), Việt Vote Houston, and Hội Văn Hóa Khoa Học Việt Nam (VCSA), three organizations committed to developing future civic leaders and strengthening the Vietnamese American community through education, leadership, and service.

"YES Camp is more than a weekend away—it's a place where young people discover who they are, build lifelong friendships, and realize the impact they can make together," said the organizing committee. "Our hope is that every camper leaves inspired to lead with courage, compassion, and purpose."
