Vietnamese Martyr Church (November 5), Rice Vietnamese Student Association (November 4) & VANA Post Health Fair Dinner (October 26)

This past Sunday, Viet Vote Houston  met with the representatives of the Vietnamese Youth Eucharistic Movement at Vietnamese Martyrs Church.   VVH was there to present a micro-grant to the group to help with their efforts in spreading the word on the importance of voting. 

Viet Vote Houston also stopped by Rice University last Saturday to thank their Vietnamese Student organization for participating in our campaign to get young people between the ages of 18-35 to vote in this election. 

Student Julie Trinh won first place for her TikTok video depicting a conversation between mother and daughter on the importance of voting. Ethan Tran won for most viewed TikTok for the video of him on his knees begging people to go vote.

In addition, we were also at VANA Post Health Fair Dinner last weekend to promote VVH to the Vietnamese doctors.

Lido Center - October 24-25, 2023

We were at Lido Center October 24-25 to promote voting and to assist Vietnamese seniors with transportation to early polling location.

Mai Vang Center - October 11 & November 3, 2023

We were at Mai Vang Center to promote Viet Vote Houston on October 11 and November 3.  Your vote is your power! 💪✨

We were at the Fall Festival located at The "Our Lady of LA Vang Houston" Church! Lots of yummy foods 🍲🍜🥗🥤, AND our booth offered free goodies and a chance to win some fun prizes.

We were at the mayoral debate at the University of Houston, where candidates will discuss their visions, policies, and plans for the future.

Viet Cultural Fest - September 19, 2023

Viet Cultural Fest, a youth-led initiative, is a celebration of Vietnamese heritage and a platform for cross-community collaborations. Explore a rich tapestry of visually captivating displays, thrilling competitions, authentic cuisine, cultural entertainment, traditional games, and interactive activities.​ 

Viet Vote Houston was there to promote voting in Houston.   Our mural collected hundreds of signatures to share their thoughts about the importance of voting and pledge to vote!
